From February to December, our centre offers a space dedicated to Europe. Our staff are available to provide information materials, personalised guidance, support in searching for European opportunities, and answers to questions about the rights and duties of European citizens. The desk is open to citizens and residents of the Vesuvian area and is completely free of charge.
At certain times of the year, the centre may also host special thematic desks with experts or organise dedicated open days. If there is an issue related to the European Union — its priorities, policies or institutions — that you would like to explore further, let us know: we will be happy to look into it together with you.
Your opinion matters, and we can help you find the right tools to share it, such as Citizens’ Dialogues, public consultations and feedback on new EU policies and existing legislation, citizens’ panels and debates, or the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI). And sooner or later there are also elections — a tool that should never be taken for granted.
We care about citizens having well-informed opinions on issues concerning Europe. For this reason, the Eurocorner also serves as a reading point: a small library is currently being set up, which will allow visitors to explore different aspects of the European Union. You will also find an archive of Italian and international magazines focusing on European policies, available to users, including Politico, Le Monde Diplomatique (FR), Europae – Rivista di Affari Europei, and others.
Your participation matters, and we believe in a practical approach to European citizenship. If you would like to get involved, simply write to us or come and visit us. Moreover, if you have ideas on how to bring Europe closer to citizens — or, conversely, citizens closer to Europe — feel free to stop by and share them with us.
The space operates on a walk-in basis, so you can also visit without an appointment. You can find us from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 18:00 and on Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 at the i-Point in San Giorgio a Cremano.
